Magnesia Chrome Bricks are high-strength basic refractory bricks made from magnesia and chrome ore, offering excellent resistance to high-temperature slag corrosion and mechanical wear in steelmaking furnaces.

  Description

Magnesia Chrome Bricks are manufactured using high-purity magnesia and chrome ore through pressing or casting, followed by high-temperature firing. These bricks combine the high refractoriness of magnesia with the excellent slag resistance of chromite, providing strong chemical stability, high mechanical strength, and long service life. They exhibit outstanding performance under basic and oxidizing slag conditions, and maintain structural integrity even in demanding steelmaking environments such as electric arc furnaces, ladles, and converter linings. The addition of chrome ore enhances the brick’s corrosion resistance and reduces wear from molten steel and slag, making them ideal for heavy-duty metallurgical applications.
