Refractory Mortar is a specially formulated bonding material designed to withstand high temperatures, thermal cycling, and chemical attack in industrial furnaces and kilns. It is made from high-grade refractory aggregates, binders, and additives to ensure strong bonding between firebricks and monolithic refractory structures.
Depending on composition—such as fireclay-based, high-alumina, silica, magnesia, or phosphate-bonded systems—refractory mortar can be tailored for different furnace atmospheres and service conditions.
With excellent adhesion, crack resistance, and easy application by troweling or gunning, refractory mortar is widely used in refractory bricklaying, furnace repair, and refractory installations demanding long service life and structural stability.
